Wasp Control and Wasp Removal Flower Mound, TX

Need a wasp nest removed in Flower Mound, TX? Then you've come to the right place. Assassin Exterminating & Pest Control is the leader when it comes to Pest Control & Exterminating in the Dallas Fort Worth area.

Appearance

Wasps can be distinguished from bees by the appearance of their body.  Where bees have a hairy or feather like (also know as plumose) body, wasps have a smoother body. Though there are many varieties of paper wasps, the common coloring used to identify them is a single reddish-brown to chestnut coloring to multi-coloring of yellow, black and/or brown.

Nests

Most Wasps and Hornets attach their nests above ground to a stationary object - under the eaves of your home, under porches, behind shutters, or in decorative shrubs. A paper wasp (or commonly called and umbrella wasp) make nests made out of paper-like material.  The nest are generally small and shaped like an inverted umbrella.

Treatment
An appropriate treatment is applied directly into the nest. This application will effectively kill all nest occupants. Some workers are likely to be out foraging. A dusting of insecticide will be applied to a small area around the nest in order to kill stragglers as they return to the nest. Assassin Exterminating warranties all stinging insect nest removal treatments.

Rodent Control | Rodent Elimination Flower Mound, Texas

Rat and Mouse are actually not scientific classifications. These words are common names for rodents that look alike to the casual eye.

Rat is used to describe medium-sized rodents with long thin tails. There are many species of rodent that are called Rats -- Kangaroo Rats, Cotton Rats, Norway Rats, Roof Rats (Black Rats), African Pouched Rats, Naked Mole Rats, Wood Rats, Pack Rats, Polynesian Rats and many others. These different rodent species may not be closely related to each other at all!

Mouse is used to describe tiny, sparrow-sized rodents with long thin tails. As with Rats, there are many species of rodents called Mice which may or may not be closely related to each other: House Mice, Field Mice, Deer Mice, Smoky Mice, Spiny Mice, and Door Mice are all called Mice.

So, which Rats and Mice are you talking about? Generally, people are referring to the domestic or pest Rats and Mice, which means Norway Rats (Rattus norvegicus), Roof Rats (Rattus rattus), and House Mice (Mus musculus).
